In order to take part in the admission test of 20 general and science and technology universities of the country held on cluster basis, the final merit order will be prepared by using 8 criteria from the initial application of the candidates. In this case students first have to prepare GPA and number obtained in SSC and HSC, GPA and number in Physics and Chemistry in Science HSC respectively and GPA and number in SSC and HSC in Humanities and Commerce, GPA and number in Bengali and English in HSC. According to the guidelines, science students must first score 60 per cent from the GPA in the HSC exam and 40 per cent from the GPA in the SSC exam. After that 60 percent score will be taken in HSC exam number and 40 percent score will be taken in SSC exam number. Grade points and numbers in Physics in SSC and grade points and numbers in Chemistry in HSC will be published in sequence. Similarly, in the case of Commerce and Humanities, the GPA of HSC examination will be 60 percent and the GPA of SSC examination will be 40 percent. Notable issues during the final application
At the time of final application, students have to keep at least 5 out of 27 examination centers in the preferred list. A Center Determining Score (Maximum 100) will be prepared for each student considering the location of the educational institution of SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent course, number obtained in SSC and HSC / Equivalent examination, year of pass and other related matters. Students’ test centers will be determined on the basis of the scores obtained and the order of preference of the center. There is no opportunity to change the scheduled test center.

Preliminary application and qualifications
Only students who have passed SSC or equivalent from 2016 to 2018 and HSC or equivalent from 2019 and 2020, Diploma-in-Commerce, HSC (Vocational), A Level and other equivalent examinations under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (subject to approval by Equality Determination Committee) are admitted. You can apply for the test. In the case of commerce;
Applicants who have passed HSC or equivalent examination from Commerce Branch (Unit B) should have a total GPA of 7.5 with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in both SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations (including the fourth subject).
In the case of science;
Applicants who have passed HSC or equivalent examination from Science Unit (C Unit) must have a total GPA of 8 with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in both SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations (including the fourth subject).
Must have passed five subjects in O Level examination and at least two subjects in A level examination and have at least B grade in four subjects and at least C grade in three subjects out of total seven subjects in both the levels. However, it has to be approved by the Equality and Eligibility Determination Committee through direct application. Applicants who have passed O Level, A Level and English Version (National Curriculum) examinations will have their question papers translated into English where applicable. When is the admission test of the Combined method?
Initially selected students can make a final application for participation in the admission test between April 24 and May 20 by depositing BDT: 500 through mobile banking service. Applicants will be able to download admit card between June 1 and June 10. Admission test for A unit (science) will be held on June 19, B unit (humanities) on June 26 and C unit (commerce) on July 3. The one-hour test will start at 12 noon and will continue till 1 pm.
