Jalalabad Gas Field is a natural gas field in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is a US multinational oil and gas subsidiary of Chevron. The Jalalabad gas field is located in the Lakartura Tea Estate area of Sylhet. The Jalalabad gas field was discovered in 1979 by an international oil company, Cemeter. Gas is being extracted in Jalalabad gas field through three wells named JB-, JB-7 and JB-9 in Block-1.
